Academic excellence is the foundation of Beta Deuteron. With a chapter GPA of 3.28 — above the Iowa State undergraduate average — our Charge consistently ranks among ISU's top fraternities in the classroom.

Academic Support Resources

  • Required study hours for new members and academic probation members

  • Freshman are paired with upperclassmen by similar major

  • Improvement meetings with Scholarship Chairman for struggling members

  • Gift card and dinner incentives for study challenge participants

  • Social probation for members below a 2.75 current GPA
